Hi, I’m Alicia

I'm drawn to things that are easily overlooked; contradictions, moments that don't quite fit, and the small details that can seem insignificant but somehow carry meaning. I’m currently in counselling training and writing about my curiosities is deeply important to me.

Much of what matters to me has been learned outdoors. Walking in the fells, noticing the changing seasons, tending plants and paying attention to the quiet details around us.

Nature continually reminds me that growth has its own timing. That periods of uncertainty are often part of a larger process. What appears stuck on the surface may still be changing underneath.

I don't believe we are problems to be solved. We are far more complex, resilient and interesting than that.
Life has taught me that meaningful change rarely happens in a straight line. It often begins quietly; in uncertainty, in questions, in moments where something no longer fits but we don't yet know what comes next.

“Perhaps we have always known. We have simply not made space to know.”
